Masterfully illustrated with bold and lifelike watercolor paintings, this retelling of the Old Testament story is both lyrical and evocative. The story captures Noah’s faith and perseverance as he fulfills God’s command and builds an ark for the safety of his family and the animals. The illustrations convey both vastness and great detail, leaving the reader with a sense of the wonder and grandeur of creation and the story itself. Among the many children’s versions of this Biblical tale, this works stands above others in terms of both beauty and storytelling.
